Most commonly, the iCloud Activation Lock affects those users who purchase second-hand iPhones only to discover that the previous owner had failed to remove their iCloud account from the device in question.

Apple’s security measures are so tight that actually managing to bypass iCloud is near impossible unless you’ve got the email and passcode of the account currently linked to the device. However, the good thing is that there are tools out there like T-Bypass Tool v1.4 that claim to be able to lift the lock for you.

In order to help out our readers, we decided to test out the tool on our phones so that you don’t have to. In this way, we can determine whether or not it works and save everybody some time.
